Finally fall?

In San Francisco, by the time it's August, summer is over. Back-to-school traffic has been wreaking havoc on the parking situation and BART is full of students flooding into the Bay. The fog never really lifts, but the last weeks before Labor Day are really the first time we can wear fall clothing without feeling overdressed. This fall, we'll have fun with rich colors and textures--metallics, jewel toned velvet, floral brocade. Keep your eyes out for unique vintage pieces, especially jewelery--it's a low-risk entry into your new vintage addiction. To balance these eye-catching pieces, pair simple but high quality basic pieces with your new favorite showstoppers. Below, boots with dark embroidered florals are updated with a minimalist sole and design. Everlane's basic kick flares (this style is cropped slightly above the ankle) will keep your look modern enough to pull off the velvet duster in the last photo. Wear with your favorite comfy tee, tucked in. Shelly&#
